Mando Diao is a band from Borlänge Dalarna. They now live in Stockholm.

They have been in the flashlight for more than 15 years and have been

playing since 1999.

It started in Borlänge with Björn Dixgård and his friend Daniel Haglund in

Borlänge. Rommehed. They played together in the family house.

The first album was "Bring em in" from 2002. Since then they have been

playing from the east to the west in Sweden and Japan Germany Austria

and Spain. f ex.

They have changed members from time to time in the last 5 years. Today

3 members has left the band. Samuel Giers Mats Björke and Gustaf Norén.

The band has now these members: Björn Dixgård song and guitar, Daniel

Haglund keyboard piano and song, with Carl-Johan Fogelklou on bass

and Patrik "Patso" Heikenpienti on drums (since 2011).

He is also a producer and soundenginer. And Jens xx on sologuitar.

They also have a projects in other musicareas. as Caligula with "Sting of

Battle" 2011.

The Big NEWS is that the leadsinger and front man Gustaf Norén left the band

in the end of May and he told us about it on TV in the popular Swedish

popular talkshow "Breaking News" with Filip Hammar and Fredrik Wikingsson.

There is a lot of "talking" about all this stuff in media now but we really hope that

Gustaf and Björn will get together again... somewhere somehow.

We are the one and only fanclub of this band situated here in Borlänge not far from

all the famous places and houses where they lived and played.

INFRUSET blev en SUCCÈ och en hyllning till skalden Gustaf Fröding.

Albumet blev en omedelbar succé och nådde i den allra första veckan första plats på listorna. Sålde platina under 2013 och fick Grammis för bästa Folksång. Singeln Strövtåg i hembygden representerades i två år utan avbrott oktober 2014 på svensktoppen. Albumet Infruset var etta i över 100 veckor och rankas på listan över "bästa album genom tiderna. I Sverige på fjärde plats.
